Current Update: PUROLATOR, CANPAR, ICS, UPS, FEDEX, GLS, you name it, pick up throughout the day from the workshop. Despite the Canada Post strike, the turned in-side-out cereal boxes filled with your items from Dear Lil' Devas continue their travels to you and the flat-rate shipping costs that you see when you arrive at your shopping cart have not changed.

Rosie here and Christmas 2024 is coming (big smiles to you!). The window of time needed to make from scratch (working solo since 2020 in my workshop in Madoc, Ontario, Canada) and send your lovely orders is now FOUR BUSINESS DAYS - that's a very good turnover :-) I'm thankful to you, dear customers!

Canada Post has always (Dear Lil’ Devas was established in 2003), been my shipping vehicle of choice. I know it's a very small thing, but I will miss my daily visits at the local post office. Canada Post workers, you are appreciated and are in our prayers, that this strike will be over quickly.

Areas affected by the Canada Post strike are the UK, EU and remote destinations within Canada. If you're ordering for delivery there, please email me first to check (rosie@dearlildevas.com).

The Story of the Original Light Weight Cotton Dream Pants

As many wonderful things are, the Dream Pants were created out of love.

They were intended as a thank you to Paula, the woman who used her knowledge of yoga and Thai massage to help Dear Lil' Devas' designer Rosie through a very difficult pregnancy and birth.

Paula's Dream Yoga Pant Criteria as relayed to Rosie in September, 2002:

  • not tight
  • as lightweight as possible
  • an adjustable waist - but not bulky (no folding over)
  • colours please, no more black yoga pants

It took a year to perfect the pants - the biggest challenge was finding the perfect fabric. The lightest possible cotton was found, and it was woven, not stretchy, so a panel bottom was employed to allow for much movement.

Turns out that Paula's Dream Pants are also the Dream Pants of many yogis and yoginis. The decision to put the pants on the market came after much reflection. Rosie’s experience in the garment manufacturing industry gave her a very clear vision of the maintenance and well-being of both the people involved in the production of the pants and the planet.

Today, Rosie's daughter (picured below) is a teenager, and Paula is still wearing her pants - in their beautiful array of colours!
